Amendment No. 1 was offered by Representatives Pruitt and Birch: Page 1, line 1 (title amendment): Delete "the use" Insert "certain uses" Page 1, line 10, following "Facilities.": Insert "A municipal ordinance adopted under this section may not prohibit the hands-free use of a cellular telephone for voice communication." Representative Pruitt moved and asked unanimous consent that Amendment No. 1 be adopted. There being no objection, it was so ordered, and the new title follows: CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 333(CRA) am "An Act authorizing a municipality to adopt an ordinance prohibiting certain uses of cellular telephones while driving in school zones or on school property." Representative Stutes moved and asked unanimous consent that CSHB 333(CRA) am be considered engrossed, advanced to third reading, and placed on final passage. There being no objection, it was so ordered. CSHB 333(CRA) am was read the third time.
